What Is Microneedling?

A minimally invasive treatment that helps improve the skin & skin regeneration.

It consist of tiny sterile needles that create micro injuries in the skin, stimulating our skins natural healing response. By doing so, it helps target collagen & elastin, appearance of acne scars, pigmentation, fine lines & wrinkles, firmness and enhancing the skin’s ability to renew itself.

How It Works

By triggering a healing process, Microneedling stimulates our skin’s ability to repair damaged tissue by promoting collagen and elastin synthesis.

It increases circulation and delivers oxygen & nutrients which helps support skin renewal and repair.

It enhances cellular activity supporting a balanced skin tone and healthy skin.

It helps treat acne scars, pigmentation, skin firmness, fine lines/wrinkles.

What To Know Before Your First Treatment

If this is your first microneedling treatment at Galini, you will be sent a consultation form before booking.

If you are not a candidate for microneedling, you will be notified and a substitute treatment can be booked for you instead.

SERA SERUMS for Microneedling

  • Sera AK - Firming Serum

    If you’re looking to treat scars, melasma or need firming of the skin, this serum is for you.

    This formula has Succinic acid (which is an anti inflammatory), as well as 14 different amino acids which help boost the other ingredients. It helps promote skin rejuvenation, increase firmness and elasticity.

  • Sera RD - Radiance Serum

    If you’re looking to treat hyperpigmentation, sun damaged skin or exposing yourself to the sun, this serum is for you.

    This formula contains Ferulic acid which helps fight off free radicals including age spots. It contains Curcumin which improves collagen production, increases fibroblast and vascular density. It also contains Safranal which is an antioxidant including vitamin C, which helps lighten pigment.

  • Serum HY - Hydrating Serum

    This serum is known as “Botox in a bottle”.

    Packed with Hyaluronic acid, it helps keep the skin hydrated at 3 different molecular weights. If fine lines and wrinkles are a concern, this serum is for you. It restores skin elasticity by stimulating synthesis of collagen which helps firm the face and reduce wrinkles.

How Does Red Light Therapy Work?

Red Light Therapy uses tiny LED bulbs that emit red or infrared light to your skin.

The light works by stimulating the mitochondria (our cells battery) within each skin cell. It gives our cells more energy which allows our skin to repair itself. This leads to collagen production, reduced inflammation/redness, pigmentation, firmer, younger looking skin.

It also helps soothe inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, rosacea and psoriasis. It helps increase blood flow to damaged tissue.
